This could include the ability to create artificial snow at greater ambient temperatures while using less water and energy. Snowmaking technology has advanced significantly during the last few decades. Cannons can now produce snow at temperatures of 1.5 °C or higher, compared to temperatures of 4 °C in the 1990s.
