Job Location:Jetalpur Road, Vadodara 

We are looking for a methodical Research Analyst to survey customer preferences and statistical data in order to identify market opportunities and support customers during their decision making process regarding product designs, prices and promotions. The successful candidate will be able to analyse autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.

  • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences.

  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect them.

  • Perform valid and reliable SWOT analysis.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and formulate reports/make recommendations.

  • Provide competitive analysis using statistical techniques on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation.

  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

  • Filter and "clean" data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor/ Master degree in Statistics, Maths, Economics, Engineering or related field

  • Excellent written English and numeracy skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of databases and MS Office.

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

  • Previous data analyst (market research) experience.

  • Search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen.

  • Familiarity with CRM programs.

  • Knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)

  • Project management skills - able to manage your time effectively - working to strict deadlines.
