Today's era has became the era of technological developments. From a pin to a pen, each and every product is continually developing. Man has always strived to improve his life with new products or innovating the existing ones. This cycle of evolution has always altered the traditional practices but the evolution have always aimed to improve the lives better. Talking about the diapers, the industry is continually growing with the developing era. The global diaper market is segmented all around the world due to the demand of hygiene products. Traditionally, people were using many substitutes for diapers such as cloth, scrotch pants, animal skins, moss, linens, etc. but their usage was tedious because of necessity of frequent washing and sanitizing. Then came the disposable diapers which were easy to use and reliable. As the demand ascended, new diapers were also developed such as training pants and swim pants. Later, biodegradable diapers were introduced as they were eco friendly and required less time to decompose. Till then, diapers became a necessity all around the world._x000D_
Some nations still prefer the traditional ways of child raising. The reasons maybe the higher cost of baby diapers which was unaffordable or the austerity of tradition. But, the government in such nations is trying to get the people out off the stigmas. In Latin America, a bunch of diapers can cost up to $40 peso which was very costly for an average person to afford. In African countries, most of the people are unaware of the baby hygiene and chose to stick to the traditional ways. The National Council of & for Persons with Disabilities ( NCPD), Africa conducts a campaign "" Nappy run"" which buys nappies for the children with disabilities. The P&G launched a mobile health clinic campaign connecting more than 1,00,000 mothers & babies in more than 50 towns across the Africa. P&G also printed their diapers with message ""back to sleep"" in order to bring awareness about the sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) in African and Latin American countries. In middle east countries, various governmental and non-governmental bodies are campaigning to bring awareness about the diapers. The developed middle east countries have overcame the traditional practices and started using the baby diapers. The Napco launched the TV campaign ""Bambi like no other"" in Saudi Arabia to bring awareness of baby hygiene. Sanita, Lebanon's leading diaper company promotes its brand named Happies diaper with awareness commercials on TV. On the other side, wearing adult diaper is still considered a taboo in middle east. Brands such as Shamshad Abdullah, Cura hygiene, Afex ,etc are constantly focussing to provide user friendly experience by developing new incontinence products. Moreover, they are also providing free home delivery options if a person feels embarrassed buying them in public._x000D_
All these efforts were done to overcome the traditional practices for baby hygiene and breaking stigmas of incontinence for the adult hygiene. With the course of time, the diaper market attained a gradual growth in Latin America and Middle East -Africa. According to the market analysis report "" Latin America Middle East & Africa (LMEA) Baby & Adult Diaper Market By Value, By Country ( Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Rest Of Latin America ) By Diaper Type ( Disposable, Training Pants, Swim Pants, Bio Degradable ), By Company ( Procter & Gamble, Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget ( SCA ) Hygiene, Ontex Group, Hengan International Group Company), Outlook ( Trends & Forecast ), 2025"" published by Actual Market Research, The Latin American diaper market is expected to exceed US $12.24 billion by the end of 2025 registering a CAGR of more than 7% while the MEA diaper market will grow to US $11.47 billion in 2025 with a CAGR of more than 9%. The awareness of diapers for hygiene will lead the growth of demand in these countries. As per Deepak Tiwari, Data Analyst at Actual Market Research, ""The Middle East Africa have always been a least contributor in global diaper market. But, the ongoing awareness campaigns will help the people to understand the hygiene which in return, will affect the diaper market growth. In case of Latin America, relaxation in government regulations and duties will create new opportunities in the diaper market. ""_x000D_
